Resolutions….Viva 2015

Vision Board

Most people make resolutions for the New Year at the beginning to each year. They are excited for the new opportunity to “begin anew”, to try something outside of their comfort zone, and even more so, to challenge themselves. Some people vow to have better relationships, be more involved in their community, and pledge to a healthier way of life. Whatever your reason for beginning anew, makes sure your vision is aligned with your dreams, that your goals are measurable, and that more importantly, that make yourself accountable.

I don’t usually write down a list of goals or resolutions ( in this respect). Nor do i set them at the “beginning of the year.” Instead, I create a vision board that I can see each and every day of My Year. I avoid rushing to do one at end or right at the start of the year. Like you, i’m adjusting to the conclusion of a busy work year, entrepreneurial or home life; and then there its begin a whole new cycle.  Typically,  I’ll have my vision board hanging in my bedroom or hallway to some place that will be a daily reminder of life’s mission ~ a colorful plan on how i envision my success.

Vision boards create a visual stimulation as well as a more inspiring approach to achieving ones goal. You can use pictures, inspirations phrases, and a collage of words to hearten your motivation.

What have I accomplished? Throughout the year I used pictures to commemorate the goals from my vision board. So if you’ve follow me on social media, you will see that my pictures are refelction of my vision.

Built for This…

At times it feels easier to deny your reality than to accept your fate.  As long as you act as if  your troubles are indistinguishable, then your triumph will feel invisible.

Incredibly, in your unchanged effort to protect your feelings, you can chip away at your Presence.

Yes, days can be difficult and some night can even seem unbearable, but you must find the determination to be persistent in finding peace through your challenges.  You must remind yourself of your troubles and accomplishments, for both are valuable teachers.  You must learn to be your own motivator…. This is not due to the lack of support you may think you don’t have; instead, it ‘s in the reassurance that you were built for a world like this world. Your battles existed before you had anticipated them, You were built for failure to feats.

for every major success, there are far more failures to overcome…

The Beauty in Choosing…

 The Beauty in Choosing….

Beautiful Art that fills our City Streets…

The beauty of our days is the many opportunities we get to choose. Every day YOU get the choice to see the glass as half empty OR half full. I whole-heartedly say, choose to see yourself half way closer to your goals than farther than you are imagining. Remaining focus and ambitious isn’t a seasonal desire. You have to be eager to challenge your daily ambiguity and remain positive during the most difficult of times. You spirit cannot be broken without your consent. Your armor will become dented by the spells of life, but your spirit will not be broken….

The Same Difference….

I’m perfect: imperfect   … same difference. DSC_7346

The journey in life is to live a full and meaningful life, not to be critical of ourselves and get distracted by what we lack, instead focus on who you are.

I’ve learned to strive toward becoming a better me and not idealizing what it means to be perfect. Taking the time out to acknowledge all your strengths and accomplishments, is one way of changing your imperfections to motivation.  Its a simple exercise but i urge you to try it.

All the things you will come up with will surprise you. And even more rewarding will be the feeling you of relinquishment.  You’ll begin to realize that those same erroneous thoughts you have of yourself of being imperfect, has strengthened you throughout time.

For instance, You may think you are not on target for a certain goal in your life (imperfect). But when you think about how driven you have been in accomplishing that steps towards this goal, you see your own courage (I’m Perfect).

With a simple inflection, change in punctuation, or a change to your internal filter, you see things in a different light.

How do you choose to see yourself…..
